Historic Chimney Sweep Quilt 1850's

ANTIQUE 1850 CHIMNEY SWEEP QUILT, HAND PIECED PATCHWORK QUILT
Presenting a cotton 1850 - 1860 Chimney Sweep quilt and would work on a full sized bed. . Colors are still bright and vivid.
The quilt consists of straight line stitching, all hand-done. The batting has a medium thin thickness. ALL hand pieced and hand quilted except its machine stitched binding. Binding is hand sewn back to front and turned under.
CONDITION
In good condition. Colors are still bright and vivid with no fading. No repairs, no holes, unwashed condition, and with no damage or odors. This quilt has never been washed and still is crisp with original sizing. The quilting stitches have oxidized into the under fabric and turning blue. The quilting stitches on back have not bled.Possible with first soaking these will disappear.

90" x 75".
