Historic Fox & Geese Quilt 1880's

A stunning hand made quilt with the perfect folk bent. Would Be so stunning in a guest bedroo, as a sofa throw, or as a framed art piece. So many creative applications for this historical piece.

CONDITION

.1880's/1890's cotton red, white and indigo blue "fox & geese" / double X quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with a tiny black-on-white print background, It measures 68" X 86" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional small age spot and no wear. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is solid red, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Defiance, Ohio.
